MCM HAITI UPDATES AND PRAYER REQUESTS
Dear Friends,
WOW!! 2014 is well behind us and February is just around the corner.
We just received our Christmas cards (those which were sent through Agape Flights in Venice, FL) yesterday - and it was a blessing to hear about loved ones and see the photos of how all the kiddos are changing. And - really - it was just great to be remembered! : )
Made me think of all of you, and how grateful we are for you. Grateful that God has given us the opportunity to serve these young lives in Haiti together. Grateful for your prayers. Grateful for your generosity in giving to the expenses of this ministry.
God continues to faithfully provide what is needed for EACH day!
Looking at our ministry work TODAY - we are excited, filled with love and compassion, often overwhelmed, and seeking to ALWAYS look to God for His direction.
Preschool continues to be a blessing! We have 32 two-year-olds, 26 three-year-olds, and 29 four and five-year-olds. We are blessed to watch them grow, celebrate new abilities and milestones, listen to their beautiful singing and watch as they learn how much God loves them. There are also many opportunities to pray for them as they struggle to conquer fresh challenges, face illnesses and difficult home situations, and learn to interact with their teachers and each other. We are GRATEFUL for the opportunity to sow into our neighborhood, and pray that these little ones will grow in their love for God, their families, and those in their community.
As we commit afresh to the work God has given us - will you please pray for us?
- for strength and health.
- we would be encouraged and refreshed in our relationships - with Jesus, with each other, our co-workers, the parents, and the children we serve.
- we would present ourselves daily to be used as God desires, that our lives would bring Him glory.
- we would honor God's faithfulness to us by trusting Him to provide - and not worrying about tomorrow.
We are currently needing a LOT of peanut butter, milk money (we use 40 gallons each week at a cost of $6 each), and rent $ for the children's home.
Thank you for remembering us in your prayers. We pray that God will encourage you as you walk with Him, and that you will be assured of how very much we appreciate you. Truly, we have needed each of you! : )
